Jennifer Love Hewitt Developing New Comedies For ABC, Fox
Los Angeles, CA, United States (AHN) – Jennifer Love Hewitt is developing several new TV projects after CBS supernatural drama “Ghost Whisperer” ended earlier this year. The 31-year-old actress is currently working on comedies for both ABC and Fox.
According to Variety, Hewitt and production partner A.J. Rinella, through her Fedora Films shingle, will release “Bad Taste in Men,” a single-camera, half-hour comedy that centers on a Chicago woman who is unable to find the right guy for her.
This comedy from scribe Austin Weinberg will be debuting on ABC.
Another untitled comedy project is also set up at Fox. The single-camera romantic comedy will be told from a point of view of a career-driven woman.
Also up for Hewitt is the series adaptation of her Lifetime TV film-starrer “The Client List,” wherein she played a Texan mother and housewife who became a prostitute to make ends meet after her husband got injured and couldn’t work.
The TV film posted Lifetime’s second-highest audience for an original movie this year. Hewitt is now looking to develop a series based on it.
